Laos: Luang Prabang – Mount Pousi
Mount Pousi (pronounced “poo-si”) is 300 feet hill on the center of Luang Prabang and is a must do those visiting the town. In fact, it’s considered you haven’t seen Luang Prabang until you climbed Mount Phousi. Half way up the stairs is Wat Than Phou Si Temple, and on the very top is another temple – Wat Chom Si. In between them, there are hundreds of stairs and dozens of Buddhas of all shapes and sizes. The views from the top are truly phenomenal and panoramic with the confluence of two rivers and the peninsula of the historic Luang Prabang just beneath you.
