Latvia: Bauska Castle
Bauska Castle is a 16th century Livonian Order (Teutonic Knights) Castle at the narrow peninsula at the confluence of Musa and Memele River in southern Latvia. There’s also an older ruined castle nearby. The castle includes residence-like building in the interior, while fortified bastions and towers on the outside and 3.5m thick walls, plus the moat and the gate and the rivers for full protection.
