Latvia: Sigulda & Gauia National Park
Gauia National Park is the largest national park in Latvia, protecting a very picturesque river valley and the hour rounding hills and forests. A single carriage cable car connects the two river banks and you can ride over the river below in a shaking old 2×2 metal box (I did it first when I was 5). The forest has many wooden pathways going up and down the steep hills. It’s green, dark, and beautiful below the canopy. There are also several erosion sand caves here, although they are relatively small.
