Lesotho: Driving to Thaba-Tseka aka A3

Another super spectacular drive in Lesotho is the winding and twisting road to Thaba-Tseka through the very heart of the country and many mountain passes. The road, also known as A3 begins near the town of Roma, situated southeast of the capital city, Maseru. Ultra-panoramic vistas abound here and the road is in good condition all the way to Thaba-Tseka, at which point it becomes an absolute crap. The mountain passes the road goes through include Marakabei Pass, Mokhoabong Pass, Lekhalo-La-Baroa (Bushman’s Pass), and a couple more.
