Lesotho: Wildflowers in Lesotho

The highlands in spring and summer (October to March) are full of color with all sort of hardy plants in full bloom. While it’s not like the alpine blooms in Europe or America (the mountains are rather dry here), it’s still quite a large variety and very colorful. The most widespread species are Basotho Pink, African Daisy, Wild Watsonia, Mountain Everlasting, Lesotho Scabiosa Arum Lilly, and many many others.
