Lichtenstein: Vaduz Castle
Vaduz Castle is the official palace and residence of the country’s highest authority, Prince of Lichtenstein. The town and capital of Liechtenstein bears the same name. The castle stands on a high hill above the city in the valley below and is visible from afar. It dates back to the 13th century, is relatively small in size but has quite formidable and thick fortifications.
