Macao: Historic Center of Macao

The entire historic center of Macao is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site – over 25 churches and cathedral, historic buildings, squares, a theater, narrow cobblestone streets with black-and-white tiles and ornaments. The ruined façade of St Pauls Cathedral (next post) is a true gem, as are Senado Square, St Laurence Church, St Dominic Church, Don Pedro V Theater and much more. Just roaming the streets takes you back to a medieval European town.
