Madagascar: Amber Mountain National Park
Amber Mountain National Park is the most northern in Madagascar and surrounds a mountain range. It’s a rainforest, quite different from the one in the south – it’s much warmer and humid here – so massive ferns and bromeliads in the air. Incredible biodiversity here – birds, lemurs, insects, plants. Sanford’s Brown Lemur was a new species for me here. The park is famous of several spectacular picture-perfect waterfalls. The last pic is the view of the mountain from far outside the park, it’s all dry semi-desert.
