Malawi: Mua Mission

Mua Mission is a Catholic mission in the central Malawi, and a major attraction. The local culture center located on premises has three buildings dedicated to local tribes and their culture (no photography inside). There are thousands of artifacts, masks, and other items describing the often bizarre local customs and tribal beliefs. And after you are done seeing all this, the central hall’s exposition barrages you with the message of how Christianity supersedes and elevates all that (not quite so a sublime message). There is also a red-brick beautiful church building in the heart of the mission complex.
