Malawi: Shire Highlands Fruit Bats

A small population of furry fruit bats has lived in the barns and old buildings of the Huntington House on the Satemwa Tea Estate. And then a group of researches did some DNA testing on them and it turned out to be a completely new species – Lissonycteris Goliath. They hang under the roof almost within a hand’s reach and look down on you.
