Malaysia: Kuala Lumpur – KL Tower

Petronas Towers is one symbol of Kuala Lumpur, but the KL Tower is perhaps even more recognized. Petronas is 452m/1483ft high, but that’s only architecturally with the antenna on the roof – the actual top floor is only at 375m/1230ft of elevation. KL Tower aka Menara Tower is on the other hand at 421m/1381ft with the antenna and the observation deck is much higher then the Petronas Tower. The KL Tower is 7th tallest free-standing tower in the world and the panorama from the top is surreal as the entire skyscraper skyline of Kuala Lumpur unfolds in front of you.
