Margarita Island: Museo Pueblos de Margarita
The Museo Pueblos de Margarita was quite unique – a sprawling open-air museum that’s like a time capsule of Margarita Island’s history and tradition. Nestled in a a beautiful valley nestled between the mountains and the Caribbean Sea. It’s over 20,000 sq m – all collected and organized by the local historian and author and Margarita fanatic – Alexis Marín Cheng. There is a mini old town preserving architecture, authentic furniture and even mannequins in traditional clothing. It’s an absolutely insane collection and you can even try traditional local Margarita rum!
