Marquesas/Nuku Hiva: Hatiehu Bay

Hatiehu Bay is perhaps the most picturesque of all the bays on Nuku Hiva. Framed by sharp mountain peaks on all sides, it has stunning blacks sand and Boulder beach pounded by Pacific ocean surf. And behind the beach stand one of the most beautiful churches in Polynesia with two fairy-tale towers and several ancient tiki statues in front of it.
