Marquesas/Nuku Hiva: Nuku Hiva From The Air

Marquesas Islands are quite different from your typical pacific paradise islands – no coral lagoons here and no sandy beaches and atolls, the islands are volcanic and steeply rise to over 3000 feet in an almost vertical fashion. Craggy coastline is indented with bays and valleys.
