Marshall Islands: Local food market in Majuro
It’s a tiny market in the heart of Majuro where local women sell typical (but insanely exotic for most of us) fruits and vegetables from this coral island nation – breadfruit (raw and cooked), taro chips, coconut and mini bananas, smoked fish wrapped in banana leaves, fruits of the bizarre looking pandanus tree, local lime, and more charred and cooked breadfruit.
