Marshall Islands: Driving around Majuro atoll
The drivable continuous part of the Majuro atoll is roughly 50km long, with the town on one end and the incredible beach on the other. All along the road you can see the ocean on both sides – the open waters with the surf and the calm enclosed lagoon – both with the fringe coral reef. Palm trees sway everywhere, small settlements for the roadsides, beautiful little churches pop up along the way. The town however is rather overpopulated, hectic and uninteresting.
