When in Martinique – you gotta go nuts with rum! Habitation Clement is a historic estate and rum distillery located in Le François. Founded in the late 19th century by Homère Clement, it has become renowned for producing high-quality rhum agricole, AOC designated. The estate’s founder, Homère Clément, was a pioneer in the development of rhum agricole, which has since become emblematic of Martinique’s identity. The estate includes a beautifully preserved plantation house, botanical gardens, and distillery facilities, plus all the barrels of rum of different sizes. And of course the tasting – best aged rums as many as you want.
