Mauritius: Village Weaver Birds

I am trying my best not to become a “birder” but these weaver birds were great to watch. Besides being super bright, almost fluorescent yellow, they make hanging nests from grass stalks that they hang upside down on the end of upper canopy branches. The trees end up looking as if covered with Xmas decorations. And then the birds enter the nests by pausing in mid flight in midair as the nests entrances point downward.
