Mexico/Baja Sur: Sur: Isla Coronado – Swimming with Sea Lions
And we went swimming and snorkeling with sea lions at Isla Coronado! While they look clumsy at slow on the surface, underwater they are like torpedoes. They are fast swimmers, reaching top speeds of 40 kph and can stay underwater for up to 10 minutes in pursuit of prey. It was totally incredible and insane!
