Crossing the Baja Peninsula from the Pacific side to the Baja Concepcion to San Ignacio and beyond, you drive through an arid highland area of Tres Virginies Volcanoes – three towering volcanic peaks in a nearly straight line procession, with desert flora and giant cactuses everywhere.
