Mexico/Zacatecas: Guadelupe
Guadelupe lird right on the outskirts of the Zacatecas city itself. Guadelupe is a Pueblo Magico and also part of El Camino Real de Tierra Adentro, a combined UNESCO World Heritage site covering several town of the colonization expansion west. In fact, the town was founded in 1546, when mines were discovered nearby. The center point of Guadelupe is Convento de Guadalupe, a beautiful church on the main square, less restored then in larger cities, but still with amazing stucco and artwork and very ornate interior.
