Micronesia/Chuuk: Blue Lagoon Resort

Blue Lagoon Resort is really the only nice spot on the entire island – this used to be a Japanese fortified settlement before WWII. All divers come here to explore all the shipwrecks just offshore. It’s a beautiful part of Weno island – swaying palms, panoramic views of the offshore islets and amazing lagoon. The area offshore is a marine reserve.
