Mongolia: Kharkhorin Valley – Horseback Riding
You can’t visit Mongolia and not go horseback riding. So naturally, it was a spectacular location of a curving river valley and green hills with pastures, forests, Mongolian gers, and amazing panorama all around that called for a ride. Kind of tame and not very exhilarating but still enjoyable (I did fall off a horse in full gallop in Kamchatka once, so not seeking a repeat necessarily).
