Mozambique: Driving through northern Mozambique
Driving through the northern Mozambique (sadly the only part of the country that is still safe to drive through), you encounter a landscape of red fertile earth, traditional round hits with conical roofs, and distant mountains. Multiple checkpoint (11 in total) slow your trip significantly, as at each point the police tries to extract money from you. Occasional villages are boasting vegetable markets and roadside big bags of charcoal for sale.
