Mozambique: Vilanculos – Sunset Canoeing

While the islands of the Bazaruto archipelago is the biggest draw at Vilanculos, there is plenty of adventure on land as well – like canoeing the marshlands at sunset. Plenty of stunning scenery, blooming water lilies, occasions massive crocs swimming up, endangered reed frogs, birdlife, and unique flora. The sunset is absolutely surreal and once the darkness falls – you get absolutely insane starry sky with Milky Way all across it – zero light pollution here!
