Nagorno-Karabakh: “We Are Mountains” Monument

This monument is widely considered to be the national symbol of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and depicts an old man and a woman framed into a mountain shape. It is made out of volcanic tufa rocks and sits on the outskirts of the capital city, Stepanakert.
