Namibia: Etosha NP – Angolan Giraffes
The giraffe that is common in Etosha was actually recently classified as a separate subspecies – the Angolan Giraffe. In the arid climate of the Etosha, the giraffes roam the salt pans in search of waterholes where it takes a serious effort to bend over to reach the water – it’s borderline giraffe yoga.
