Namibia: Etosha NP – Okaukuejo Camp
Okaukuejo Camp is the most famous and oldest camp in Etosha National Park. It the headquarters and is well known for its spectacular floodlit waterhole, the largest in the park, where you can observe wildlife 24/7, including elephants, rhinos, lions, and giraffes, even all night long. Okaukuejo Camp also has a watchtower, that was originally built as a military outpost during the German colonial period. Today, you can climb the tower for panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including the vast Etosha plains. The accommodations here include several rings of bungalows, all around the waterhole.
