Namibia: Kokerboom Forest
Kokerboom aka Quiver Tree is endemic to the Namibian part of the Kalahari Desert. At the Kokerboom Forest, there are about 200 trees growing more or less densely in a small area, some trees are over 200 years old. Kokerboom is actually a species of aloe. The trees are so absolutely bizarre looking that once again you feel you are on a different planet altogether.
