Nepal: Indian One-horned Rhinocerous
There are only about 3000 Indian rhinos left in the world, 600 are in Chitwan National Park in Nepal. I managed to come across one and then watch it browse and swim in the river for almost an hour. They look very different from their African counterparts – smaller, single horn, no body hair, and body plates are much more pronounced. Other then that – these armor-plates machines roam the jungle in search of green pastures and juicy grass just like they do in Africa.
