New Zealand: Auckland – Another Oyster Feast
No trip to Auckland should start without a visit to Oyster & Chop restaurant in the harbor to sample some of the best oysters in the world. The summer oyster selection (it’s summertime in New Zealand now) is very different then winter. Most oysters (especially Mahuragi) where rich, plumpy, and creamy. And having eaten 48 of them in one seating, it was more then a full meal.
