New Zealand: Auckland – Sky Tower
The Sky Tower is the iconic symbol of the city of Auckland, rising high above the business district and the harbor. It’s 328 m (1076 ft) tall, making it the tallest man-made structure in the Southern Hemisphere. Plus is stands on a hill within the city rising even higher above the sea level. There are two floors (51 and 60) with observation desks and large windows with fantastic views of Auckland near and far. In some spots the floor is made of glass, so you can stand and look down 1000 feet to the ground.
