New Zealand: Bluff Oysters

I was told to find and try the bluff oysters in New Zealand, and the best place to do this was at Oyster & Chop Bar… Bluff oyster, from the very south of the South Island are a totally different species from a rock oyster, with a large round smooth shells and huge meaty thick oysters that are more like a full meal than just a bite. The other two oysters on the menu were Clevedon Coast (rock oysters with long shells and watery briny taste), and Tematuku (rock oyster with deep shells and strong sea taste) – were awesome as well. 48 oysters consumed!
