New Zealand: Roaring Bay – Sea Lions
The wide sandy beach at the Roaring Bay is a great spot to observe the New Zealand sea lions. Both massive adults and tiny pups come out ashore here to lounge in the sun. Interestingly, this species of sea lions is quite different from the other sea lion species, and with less then 10 thousand individuals left, is considered endangered.
