New Zealand: Whanganui NP – Whanganui River Road

Whanganui River Road runs through the heart of the Whanganui National Park and along the scenic Whanganui River. The 79 km / 49 mi road leads through beautiful green scenery of hilly landscape dotted with farming communities and great overlooks. Plenty of cute farm animals along the way – from tiny black sheep to adorable striped piglets.
