Nigeria: Awka – Oku Ji Restuarant
Oku Ji Restaurant is a famous dining venue in Amawbia, near Awka, the capital city of Anambra State. It specializes in authentic Igbo delicacies and offers a genuine taste of indigenous cuisine in a very traditional atmosphere. The place is really famous for roasted yam, which is revered here like a tomahawk steak or wagyu beef. The shed went all the way out for us – roasted yam was fantastic, couple with fish, and ever flowing palm wine!
