Nike Art Gallery in Lagos is one of Nigeria’s largest and most prestigious art galleries and definitely a sight to be seen. Founded by Chief Nike Davies-Okundaye, a renowned Yoruba female artist and textile designer, the gallery is as a hub for African art and culture. The gallery houses over 25,000 pieces of art, including paintings and sculptures from across Nigeria and other neighboring parts of Africa. The five-story building is packed to the rim with painting, many are stacked back to back, while the more impressive ones are prominently displayed.
