Norfolk Island: Seabirds Around Norfolk Island
Approaching the Norfolk Island by ship, you get to spot and be accompanied by many spectacular seabirds – masked boobies, wedge-tailed shearwaters, sooty terns, red-tailed tropicbirds, and black and brown noddies, white terns, white-necked petrels, Wilson storm-petrels and more. Boobies in particular chose to literally follow the ship, while one wedge-tailed shearwater landed on the deck and spent the entire day and night. Plus there were some dolphins!
