North Korea: Performance at the Childrens Palace

And at the end of touring the children palace – we were taken (as long with many locals and other foreigners and diplomats) for a grand performance show featuring dancing, singing, music by the kids – it was truly mind-blowing. The level of everything was like in a Russian ballet – error free and top notch! Kids performed national songs and dances against a background of Kim Jong Un happily smiling at them from the background. Easily the highlight of the entire North Korean trip! Makes you think that the socialist education system works after all in developing talents.
