Norway: Aurlandsvegen Mountain Road

Aurlandsvegen Mountain Road is truly stunning as it climbs almost vertically above the Aurlandfjord to a platform overlook with absolutely unbelievable panoramic views. After this the road flattens out on a snow-covered mountain plateau and goes across it. In many places, the snow walls along the road were over 2m / 7 ft high.
