Langfoss waterfall is considered one of the most spectacular in Norway as it drops 612 m (2,008 ft) down to the Akrafjorden fjord below. The highway passes just at the bottom of the falls offering a spectacular series of viewpoints. CNN called this waterfall one of the top 10 most beautiful in the world in 2011, which is arguably a stretch or perhaps they haven’t seen as many waterfalls as me. But nevertheless, Langfoss is massive and splashing and is totally worth seeing.
