Norway: Trolltunga – Panoramic Views
Here’s the Holy Grail of hiking in Norway – Trolltunga or Troll’s Tongue. The rock ledge sticks out from the cliff edge and hangs precipitously 2300 vertical feet or 710 meters above the fjord waters below. It’s a long line of approximately 1/2-1.5 hours to get onto the Trolltunga, where everybody strikes poses for a minute for iconic pictures. Interestingly, there is a smaller and less spectacular trolltunga just around the corner on the same mountain. The landscape panorama is absolutely surreal. Another bucketlist item done!
