Oman: Bat Archaeological Site
This archaeological site is on UNESCO World Heritage site, protectors several prehistoric necropolises from around 3000 BC. There are numerous graves and round tower-like buildings probably ritualistic in nature. This area was on a trading route between the tribes of the Arabian Peninsula and Sumerians, most likely in copper. The site is quite sprawling in the desert with about a dozen round towers, some restored and some on pieces, and hardly any sites or descriptions around. You are most likely to have it all to yourself.
