Pakistan: Karimabad – Eagle’s Nest

The Sunset Point in Karimabad, ala Eagle’s Nest viewpoint in the Hunza Valley, is world famous for its breathtaking sunrise and sunset views. Located at an elevation of 2,935 m (around 10,000 feet) above sea level in Duiker, about a 15-20 minute drive from Karimabad, it offers panoramic vistas of the Hunza Valley, including peaks of Rakaposhi, Ladyfinger Peak, Ultar Peak, and Golden Peak. The colors of the mountains change as the sun sets in, with snowy peaks becoming brighter and brighter against the rest of the valley falling into shadows of darkness, simply surreal!
