Palau: Big Dropoff – More Spectacular Snorkeling

The Big Dropoff aka Ngemelis Wall is one of the most iconic and breathtaking snorkeling spots in Palau. Jacques Cousteau called it one of the best wall dives in the world, and the snorkeling here is equally spectacular. The site features a dramatic vertical wall that plunges from shallow reefs of just a few feet of water down to depths of 600–1,000 feet (180–300 m). The coral gardens are teeming with colorful fish, and you can peer over the edge into an endless blue abyss.
