It’s a beautiful channel in the reef, replete with every imaginable shade of blue. blasted and dredged through the reef in 1908 during the German colonial administration to allow for a shortcut for ships transporting phosphate mined from the southern island of Angaur to the port in Koror. Today, nutrient rich current draw a low of fish here and it’s a reliable dive site to spot manta rays.
