Palau: Long Beach
Long Beach is actually not a beach at all – it’s a spectacular sandbar that gets exposed at lower tides – long stretch of powdery white sand that creates a natural walkway that can extend up to 800m into the turquoise ocean. So yes – you can actually walk on water like Jesus in the middle of the sea. The sandbar is completely submerged during high tide. The contrast between the white sand and the fifty shades of blue of the sea makes it one of the most photographed spots in Palau.
