Palau: Soft Coral Arch – Snorkeling

Here’s another iconic snorkeling spot in Palau – the Soft Coral Arch. It’s a natural arch between two rock islands that has unique underwater profusion of soft corals. The walls of this narrow passage are covered in dendronephthya coral – ultra vibrant, broccoli-shaped soft corals in shades of pink, purple, and orange. Because it’s an arch rather than a deep cave, sunlight filters through the water, making the colors pop without needing a dive light.
