Palau: Table Coral & Giant Clam Garden – Snorkeling

A couple more spectacular snorkeling stops – a vast expanse of table and brain corals, teaming with wildlife – a truly spectacular experience. Table Coral Garden is a section of the Wonder Channel, sheltered by surrounding rock islands and this allowing the coral to grow. Plenty of tropical fish and even several colonies of clownfish – actually, there are several species of them living in Palau, always in symbiosis with anemones. The giant clam garden was a disappointment however – last time 15 years ago there were so many of them and now just few remaining .
