Peru: Chan Chan Archeological Site – Museum of Chan Chan

The Chan Chan Archeological Site has a dedicated museum that is an absolute must see – it displays a huge collection of artifacts found in the massive adobe city. The centerpiece of the museum is a detailed scale model of the ancient city. The museum houses a collection of authentic objects uncovered during excavations at Chan Chan, including amazing items of ceramics, fragments of Chimu textiles, goldwork, silver crafting, and copper tools and ornaments, and wood carvings.
